01 / Check before changing settings

Popping sounds, bubbles or an uneven finish can suggest moisture. Stringing alone does not prove the filament is wet; also check the nozzle temperature and retraction.

02 / Match the exact spool

Check the product label, spool heat limit and dryer instructions. Use drying conditions confirmed for that formulation. Nozzle and bed temperatures are not drying settings.

03 / Dry, then keep dry

A sealed box with desiccant helps keep moisture out; it does not replace controlled drying of wet filament. Use suitable drying equipment. Household oven temperature swings can damage filament. After drying, store the spool sealed with maintained desiccant.

04 / Keep a useful print record

For each MONDE spool, record the product, color, batch label, dryer model and conditions used. Compare a small print before and after care using the same file and settings. Send these details and photos when asking us for help.

PLA+ and specialty finishes are separate formulations. A shared color name does not establish shared drying conditions.
